Toolkit
A resource for owners of Bentley motorcars of this era, including interesting links, pointers to service providers and parts suppliers, and articles of technical interest.

This section is always under construction! I add more when I have time!

Online listings of Bentleys for sale in the USA:

www.hemmings.com
Hemmings Motor News Online. This is great! The online ads appear in advance of the print version. I bought my car though a Hemmings Online listing.

www.vantagemotorworks.com
Vantage Motor Works is known as the finest source in the USA for beautifully restored Bentley and Rolls Royce motorcars. Richard Gorman does not sell inexpensive cars or perform cheap services, but if you expect everything to be 100 percent right all the time and cost is no object, he is the place to go.

www.heritageclassics.com
This is an LA-based collector car dealer. They don't have Bentleys often, but when they do, the photos are excellent. The prices have never been out of line either.

www.collectorcartraderonline.com
The online version of AutoTrader, the picture advertiser you get at the convenience store. This is mostly private sellers.

www.dupontregistry.com
DuPont Registry, the magazine. This has the online CLASSIFIED ads, but does not include the dealer display ads that have many more Bentleys.

www.fedtrust.com
Usually has recent Bentleys seized from by the government and available for auction with clear title
. They do a good job of descriptions of each car, but there are no guarantees. I have never seen an S-Series Bentley here.

www.ebay.com
E Bay Motors. Sellers list a potpourri of Bentleys. You rarely see a bargain here, although I saw a 1996 Brooklands sell for about $15,000 under book value recently.

Online information about classic Bentleys:

www.rrab.com
Complied by my friend and fellow enthusiast Klaus-Josef Rossfeldt
, this is the best site to see all the Bentley models ever built. There are also interesting articles and an on-line bookstore.

Online sources of Bentley parts:

Carburettors:
www.burlen.co.uk
Burlen Fuel Systems has the molds and production rights from the original Skinners Union, makers of the SU carburetors on Bentleys. To make a long story short, I had to acquire two NEW SU carbs for my S2 engine, and these folks are the ONLY SOURCE IN THE WORLD!

New, reconditioned, used and alternate parts:
www.introcar.co.uk
Introcar Limited is a long established supplier of parts for Bentley motorcars of all ages. The provide knowledgeable, pleasant and speedy service at competitive (not cheap) prices, yet without a compromise on the quality of the product. I think they have just about everything, or at least they can get it for you. Send for the catalog
!

Online sources of Bentley services:

Carburettors:
www.joecurto.com
As far as I can tell, Joe Curto is the only US-based specialist in SU carb repairs and restoration. When I was looking for a solution to my SU carb problems, several people pointed me to him. As it turned out, he couldn't solve my particular problem, but he was great to work with.

Class Auto Financing:
www.jjbest.com
JJ Best finances automobiles from 1901-1995, specializing in Antique, Classic, Exotic, Kit, Muscle, Rod and Sports cars... The minimum purchase price is $8,000. Minimum loan amount is $6,400.
