As per the Chassis Card, this car was ordered by TRAUB AG, Switzerland - this is but half the truth. A major shareholder in TRAUB AG was His Excellency Consul Simon van Kempen and in fact this was his personal motor car for use in Switzerland (until he took delivery of his Rolls-Royce Phantom VI, bodied by Frua as a two door cabriolet). This car is now owned by Jim Poskett in Great Britain who most lovingly restored this car.
