Update
January 2002:
From
Cliff Alexander:
My
car belonged originally to Irving Geist (1900-1970) who was an apparel
manufacturer and developer, as well as a leader in services for
rehabilitating disabled war veterans.
BC80LAR
was in a bad fire while in storage after Geist died. Richard Scott
of Sidney, Ohio purchased the remains, sold it to me, and D&D
Classic Auto of Covington, Ohio, has done a complete frame-off restoration.
The
photos at right were taken at the 2000 RROC National Meet in Lexington,
Kentucky. IT was not fully restored (A/C and heater not working,
boot cover and battery cover missing, etc.) but it is finished now
and I plan to show it at the 2002 RROC Meet at The Homestead in
Virginia.
Included
here are some of the photos taken before the restoration.
